Holbeck Together - City View Medical Practice

Holbeck Together is a local charity and Neighbourhood Network Scheme that has been supporting the Holbeck community since 1992. Based at The Old Box Office in the heart of Holbeck, the organisation works to reduce social isolation, improve wellbeing and help people live active, independent lives.

Holbeck Together offers a wide range of activities, services and support for local people, including:

Lunch clubs
Meal delivery services
Games nights
Community transport (available seven days a week)
Walking groups
Day trips and outings
Digital access and support
Parent and baby groups

The organisation also offers many other activities designed to bring people together and support health and wellbeing.

Some activities have a small charge, although many are free to attend. Details of current activities and any associated costs can be found here.

As a local charity, Holbeck Together relies on volunteers who generously give their time, skills and support. Volunteering is a great way to make a positive difference in the community, meet new people and develop new skills.

Meet the Holbeck Together Team

Representatives from Holbeck Together will be available at our practice on a regular basis to provide information about their services, activities and support available within the local community.

The first session will take place at our Shafton Lane branch on Monday 3 August from 2pm to 3pm. Thereafter, representatives will attend one of our practice sites on the first Monday of each month, alternating between Shafton Lane and City View Medical Practice.

Patients are welcome to come along to find out more about the activities, services and volunteering opportunities available through Holbeck Together.
