If you require any vaccinations relating to foreign travel you need to ask on reception for a pre-travel form. Once this has been completed it will be passed to a practice nurse who will assess if any vaccines are required, we will then contact you to arrange an appointment.
If vaccinations are required it is important the appointment is made at least 6 weeks before you travel to ensure you receive full immunity.
Some vaccines may have to be ordered as they are not a stock vaccine.
Also some travel vaccines are ordered on a private prescription and these incur a charge over and above the normal prescription charge. This is because not all travel vaccinations are included in the services provided by the NHS.
